About Kenilworth Community League & Our Mission

The Kenilworth Community League (KCL) proudly represents the vibrant community residing in the southeast quadrant of Edmonton. Our association became an official part of the City of Edmonton in 1961, establishing our Community League in 1964. Nestled within our neighborhood, you’ll find the KCL’s community hall and an outdoor rink conveniently situated at the intersection of 71st Street and 87th Avenue. Our welcoming neighborhood is bordered by 75th Street to the west, 50th Street to the east, 82nd (Whyte) Avenue to the south, and 90th Avenue to the north. This boundary encapsulates the diverse and thriving community we serve and support.

Our Mission

Our mission is to further promote the interests of the community of Kenilworth. Our interests are to improve the physical, social, educational and environmental benefits of this fine community.  We strive to make a difference by educating our children, our community and the public and expanding our reach throughout the city of Edmonton.

To nurture a sense of community and inspire the creative talents of its residents, we aim to create opportunities for social connections and foster a shared sense of belonging among all citizens.
